Should Employees Work Remotely?
Module 3 · Opinions and Discussions
Read the discussion
At a team meeting, employees discussed whether they should continue working remotely. Daniel argued that remote work saves commuting time and helps people concentrate on important tasks. He explained that he had become more productive since working from home. However, Julia disagreed with the idea of working remotely every day. In her opinion, colleagues communicate more naturally when they share an office, and new employees can learn faster from experienced teammates. The manager listened to both sides and suggested a hybrid schedule: three days at home and two days in the office. Ana supported the proposal because it combined flexibility with opportunities for teamwork. Although nobody agreed on every detail, the group decided to test the new schedule for two months and review the results.
