A Missing Suitcase in Lisbon

When Daniel arrived in Lisbon for a conference, he discovered that his suitcase had not arrived. He reported the problem at the airport baggage desk and completed a missing-luggage form. The employee explained that the bag had probably remained in Madrid, where Daniel had changed planes. She promised to contact him as soon as the airline located it. Since his presentation was scheduled for the following morning, Daniel needed clean clothes and his conference materials. Fortunately, he had packed his laptop and important documents in his hand luggage. He bought a shirt near his hotel and asked the receptionist where he could find an affordable clothing store. The next afternoon, the airline delivered his suitcase to the hotel. Although the experience was stressful, Daniel learned to carry essential items with him whenever he traveled.
